History
About us
The study center, Núcleo de Estudos em Fisiologia Vegetal (NEF), was established on June 5, 1995, by students of the Graduate Program in Plant Physiology (PPGFV) at the Federal University of Lavras (UFLA).
NEF is a non-profit, non-partisan civil organization, headquartered in the city of Lavras, Minas Gerais.
Mission
Its purpose is to bring together students, researchers, and professors in the field of Plant Physiology, promoting lectures, events, and courses that can contribute to better utilization and dissemination of the knowledge generated in this field in Brazil and worldwide.
Vision
Expanding the perspective on the interdisciplinary nature of Plant Physiology to achieve a more sustainable development, with new discoveries and applications in plant production.
